Our Purpose

In Education Sector, we aim to raise the standard of rural education through capacity building. It helps “potential rural schools and madrashas in making up of critical deficiencies of their basic needs i.e. classrooms, laboratories, furniture, teaching aids, teacher training and providing additional teachers where necessary.

Major Activities

1. Educational Institute
On an average, United Trust either construct or renovate 3-4 educational institutes every year.
2. Teachers
It also maintains a pool of 50-60 Additional Teachers for different schools and madrashas to balance the teachers to student ratio.
3. Scholarship
It also provides scholarships to more than 100 poor but meritorious students per year @ Tk. 1500.00 to 3,000.00 per month.
4. Orphans & Patronizes
UT provides free residential education of about 55 orphans and patronizes another 100 orphans in different institutions.
5. Sponsors
It also sponsors about 380 under privileged slum students run by ‘Jaago Foundation’ and “Mojar Ishkul” run by ‘Odommo Foundation’at Slum Areas of Dhaka.
6. School for Underprivileged
UT also partially patronizes 02 Special Schools for the Special Children named “Amor Joti” Special school located at Badda Slum, Dhaka and at Satkhira. We work in collaboration with ‘Disability Rehabilitation and Research Association’ (DRRA) who are deeply involved with disability care of almost all kinds. It also supports 10 -12 Blind Students who are pursuing to become Hafiz.
7. Technical & Vocational Education
It also promotes technical and vocational education by providing necessary counselling and financial assistance to the poor students.
8. Current Activity
Besides, these routine undertakings, Trust is in the process of constructing few high-end educational institutes to be known as “United Public School and College”. These will be mostly residential and follow National Curriculum English version. Construction of first such institution is coming up at Jamalpur over a land area of approx. 10 acres and expected to commence operation in January 2022.
