In Education Sector, we aim to raise the standard of rural education through capacity building. It helps “potential rural schools and madrashas” in making up of critical deficiencies of their basic needs i.e. classrooms, laboratories, furniture, teaching aids, teacher training and providing additional teachers where necessary.
Health
In Health sector, UT’s activities are still limited to Primary Health Care Service. It has established, so far, 04 Rural Hospitals at Maloncha (Jamalpur), Shamur Barhi (Louhojong), Nijkunzora (Chagolnaiya) and Motkhola (Kishoreganj).
Poverty Alleviation
In Poverty Alleviation sector, UT introduced “Interest Free Micro-Credit and Loan” for the rural women’, marginal ‘businessman’ and ‘farmers’. As of now, over 35,000 families are direct beneficiaries of this scheme.
Community Services
Under Social Development sector, UT aims to address the immediate needs of the pro-poor rural people and the rural society as a whole.
